Sauna is a tradition – and tradition thrives on diversity.
We welcome all forms of sauna culture – whether with clothes or textile-free. Our sauna worlds combine tradition with diversity, allowing everyone to find their own way to experience the sauna.
And there's more: in the first half of the year, you can look forward to two new steam baths and a brand-new kelo sauna in the textile-free Vital & Sauna. These are already in the planning stage. Until then, our guests can enjoy the Kelo sauna, the Salt Sauna, and the Erdinger Sauna textile-free.
Therme Erding was, is, and remains the largest sauna landscape
in the world!

Drift Meadow:
A kinetic sculpture of mechanical flowers
Meadow is an upside-down landscape - a kinetic sculpture made of mechanical flowers that open and close in a poetic choreography. The installation evokes the transience of the seasons and the fascinating nature of natural growth processes.
The presentation reflects the Therme Group's fundamental belief that well-being begins with living in harmony with nature. The 38 mechanical “blossoms” are dedicated to German architect and founder of Therme Erding, Josef Wund, and symbolize his values.

Flying Waters
Our fountain of youth is now complemented by the new generative video projection “Flying Waters” by artist Egill Saebjörnsson.
Animated water jets glide playfully back and forth between sculptural elements and plants behind the fountain of youth, lending the space a lively dynamic.
